GW and GW:F - Guild Wars Forums

hi im new here and i was looking for some help about guild wars and guild wars:factions. I am looking for GW or GW:F but i dont know if it is sold in Hong Kong i know there is chinese version of guild wars but i dont know how to read chinese, so just wanted to know if in HK there is english version of guild wars. i sw some hk players guilds etc. so im thinking there probably is hk people playing the english version hope someone could help thanks and also want some suggestions on getting which game first? GW or GW:F ? i read some topics and user comments about factions so im having some doubt as in what to get first as my first GWs game Many thanks for those that are reading and helping

no matter what version of gw you buy, you can change the language...
In my opinion:
normal gw is easier to play than gw:f
you can try out all 8 professions in gw:f
more people are on gw:f atm
not much people are on gw due to factions

but there is this version of guild wars http://guildwars.nctaiwan.com/ because if i buy that version i would be playing in a different community am i correct or not? and it will be most likely a non-english speaking community so i would be extremely hard for me to communicate or social with these players. but if you say i can change language does that mean i buy the guild wars from this http://guildwars.nctaiwan.com/ website i can change its language to english ? thanks for the help

I would suggest you buy the American version of Guild Wars. If you buy the Taiwanese version, you cannot play with Americans except in the international district which is usually empty anyway.
